News coverage showing photos like this brought me to tears today. Thinking of all the innocent animals affected by this disaster... it breaks my heart. Knowing that this bird and thousands of animals will likely die because of human mistakes. Being in the middle of the country I'm not sure how I can help, I want to help, but how?

I know how you feel. I love birds/animals and burst into tears every time I see a photo like this.

I understand completely. I get such an awful feeling when I see these pictures of birds, turtles, etc. Breaks my heart.
I know how you feel! Makes me sick to think about how everyone and everything is being hurt.
